Introduction to Free Fire

Hey everyone, what’s up? How are you doing? I hope you’re doing really well.

In today’s video, I’m going to give you a beginner’s guide for Free Fire. I’m going to teach you the essential aspects of the game.

So, if you’re new to this game and you’re just starting to play your first matches in Free Fire, stay tuned because throughout this video I’m going to give you the best tips and help on how to play this game, what it is about, which weapons to use, and many other things.

So stay tuned for this beginner’s guide to Free Fire. Let’s start the video and begin our first match.

Free Fire Game Modes

As you can see, in this case we are going to play Classic mode, which would be Battle Royale. This is the solo survival mode.

But as you can see, we have other game modes as well, such as Ranked, which would basically be the same as Battle Royale: 50 people on an island fighting against each other.

The difference is that Ranked is based on points. At the end of each match, if you perform well, you will receive points and gradually rank up.

This works through seasons, so it is basically a more competitive mode where you can increase your rank through points. At the beginning, points are deducted, and so on until you reach the highest rank, which would be Heroic.

We also have other modes, such as Squad mode, which would be like a versus. These are mini matches between squads.

We also have other game modes, such as Triple Wolf and Lone Wolf, which are different mini-games that you can play if you want.

But in this case, we are going with Battle Royale, which is the Classic mode. We are going to have approximately 40 people on an island, and we have to survive.

So let’s start the first match of the video.

Landing and Choosing a Safe Location

As you can see, once the match starts, we will be here on this plane, which will fly over the entire Bermuda map. We can jump whenever and wherever we want.

I recommend that if you are beginners, you should land on the outskirts of the map, in places that are far away.

For example, depending on where the plane is flying, if the plane is passing over here, I’m not going to jump here. I’m going to jump over there, very far away.

So let’s go to the outskirts so we can calmly and comfortably explain how this game works.

Once we jump from the plane, as you can see, we are going to quickly head toward the location we want. Obviously, we can click the acceleration button to go very fast and arrive before everyone else.

How Battle Royale Works

As you can see, this game is similar to The Hunger Games movie series.

There are 50 survivors on an island, and what they have to do, as the name suggests, is survive.

We have to survive against the different enemies inside the map and the players who are near us.

So, how do we survive against these enemies? By eliminating them.

To do that, we have to find weapons, ammunition, medkits, and different tools that will help us fight the enemies we encounter along the way.

Obviously, the objective of this match is to be the last survivor on the island and win the match.

Looting and Finding Weapons

So let’s start fighting.

All the houses we have here are places where we can loot. Loot basically means searching for weapons, medkits, and everything that can be used to survive.

For example, the weapon I have here is a long-range weapon that we are going to use to eliminate people from a distance.

For example, there is a person over there.

Long-range weapons use AR ammunition, which is the brown-colored ammunition we are seeing.

These are long-range weapons.

That person has already left, so I’m going to try to run away a little.

I recommend that at the beginning, you try to run away. Don’t try to get into trouble as soon as you land because, as you can see, we have very little ammunition and very few things to use.

It doesn’t make sense to get into a fight when we don’t even have a medkit, for example.

So let’s see what else we can find here.

We have another long-range weapon. In this case, the SCAR also uses AR ammunition.

Melee Weapons and Movement

As you can see, we also have something that is like one of the weapons you can carry in your hand.

I always recommend having one. The one I personally use the most is the frying pan.

I feel like it provides the most coverage, so always carry one.

As you can see, you can carry it while running because it will not slow you down, but it will provide a lot of protection from bullets if someone shoots at you.

So always try to have a katana or a frying pan in your hand.

Another thing I recommend, although I wouldn’t be doing it right now, is jumping while running.

Constantly jumping while running can really help us when someone is shooting at us.

Short-Range Weapons and Ammunition

Here we have a backpack.

And finally, we have a short-range weapon that we are going to use to eliminate enemies when they are close.

In this case, I’m going to exchange it.

We click and switch it with the other weapon we had, and now we have a short-range weapon.

I think we already have the perfect amount of loot.

Short-range weapons use SMG ammunition.

We also have other types of short-range weapons, such as shotguns, which use another type of ammunition.

But generally, short-range weapons use SMG ammunition, which is the red ammunition.

Here we have some more bullets, which I always recommend having.

The Storm and Safe Zone

As you can see, right now I’m running away from the storm.

This thing behind me is the storm.

If we are inside the storm, as we are going to see right now, it will slowly take away our health.

This first storm will take away health very slowly because it is the first one.

But the closer we get to the safe zone, the more dangerous the storm becomes.

Look, there is someone over there. We are going to try to eliminate them with the long-range weapon.

I’m going to try to shoot them, but I can’t.

I’m going to chase them a little longer because I need to get a kill for the video.

But since this player was far away, my long-range weapon isn’t enough.

Let’s see if we can aim and shoot them from a little farther away.

I can’t eliminate them because I don’t have a very long-range scope. I have something like a 1x scope.

So we are going to slowly approach our enemy using Gloo Walls.

We are going to place them as we move and try to eliminate the enemy.

There’s another person here. This is another enemy.

We are going to get closer and use the short-range weapon.

Let’s see where they are.

They have a shotgun.

There it is. The first kill of the video.

As you can see, I eliminated them with the short-range weapon.

Looting Eliminated Players

What players leave behind when they die is loot.

They are basically boxes containing all the things that person had.

So we are going to loot quickly.

As you can see, this person had shotguns and quite a few things.

Here we have a medkit and a lot of ammunition.

I recommend picking up as much as possible from eliminated players because it can really help you.

There we go. I think I have everything necessary.

I’m going to heal a little and continue.

Staying Inside the Safe Zone

As you can see, right now I’m inside the storm, so we are going to try to run away from it because it is taking a lot of health from me.

As I was saying, the safe zone is right here.

Inside this circle is the safe zone.

Therefore, if we are inside this circle, the storm will not affect us because we are inside the safe zone.

But if we are outside, like I am right now, it will continue taking away our health.

What happens to the safe zone?

It keeps getting smaller.

As you can see, this is the safe zone right now, but it will continue getting smaller and smaller.

Therefore, every time the safe zone shrinks, the storm becomes more powerful and more dangerous because it takes away much more health.

So it is very important to stay inside the safe zone.

Choosing the Right Weapons

We are doing pretty well.

We landed far away and picked up the first weapons we found.

Now that we have one short-range weapon and one long-range weapon, that is what you should always have.

One of each.

If you have two long-range weapons, it won’t be useful. And if you have two short-range weapons, it won’t be useful either.

So always have an AR weapon, which is a long-range weapon, and another SMG or shotgun, which are short-range weapons.

This allows you to eliminate players at different distances.

I also recommend always having plenty of medkits.

I think around four or five medkits should be enough, but never run out of medkits because they are truly essential.

They are crucial for survival because we constantly need to heal.

Character Abilities

Right now, for example, I activated Alok’s character ability.

What it does is heal me while I’m moving.

There are abilities from different characters, so this is also very important to know.

People are shooting at me again.

There are a lot of people looking for fights.

As you get closer to the safe zone, that is where all the enemies are.

That is why I always recommend staying on the outskirts of the safe zone.

Don’t go all the way to the center because that is where everyone will be.

Right now, I’m in Peak, which is one of the most dangerous areas on the entire map.

So if you are a beginner, try to avoid these types of areas.

Using Scopes and Mushrooms

Let’s try to get closer to the person who was shooting at us.

I don’t know where they ended up.

I’m a little worried because I’m not hearing much around me.

But we are going to keep running and jumping as I recommended.

There they are.

I’m shooting at them with the long-range weapon.

But as you can see, I have a 1x scope, which is the scope that comes with the weapon, and it is not highly recommended.

Whenever you find scopes, change them.

This scope does not have much zoom, so we need at least a 4x scope to have enough zoom and be able to eliminate people from an even greater distance.

We also have a mushroom here.

I highly recommend eating them whenever you can because they give us something like extra health.

As you can see, it is above the white line, which is yellow.

This will regenerate our health points whenever we need them.

So I also recommend always eating mushrooms whenever possible.

The Storm Becomes More Dangerous

Right now, as you can see, the storm has increased because the safe zone has become smaller.

As you can see, the safe zone is much smaller than before.

Therefore, the storm deals more damage.

There is someone here.

I want to heal before they come after me.

I can’t see them.

And I’m playing like…

No, no, no, no, no!

They killed me.

I can’t believe it.

They killed me.

Supply Boxes and Free Items

I started another match so I could finish explaining some things that were left incomplete.

For example, we have this incredible box here.

What it does is give us weapons completely free of charge.

It gives us weapons and many things that we need.

So when we see one unopened, the most convenient thing is to come over and use it.

As you can see, it gives us all of this completely free.

Look, I have a shotgun and a Gloo Wall.

It is definitely worth opening these boxes.

But if we want to use it again, we have to pay with coins.

The first time is free, but it continues giving us things, which is very useful to keep in mind.

Obviously, everything after the first use costs coins.

These coins can also be obtained by looting.

Just like when you find a weapon or ammunition, you can also find these coins.

So I think this is a good thing to keep in mind.

Understanding the Drone Scanner

And while we’re here, look at what is happening above me.

There is a yellow drone passing by.

I also haven’t explained what this is, so I’m going to tell you now.

Basically, it is a drone, or scanner, depending on what you call it, that marks when there are enemies nearby.

What does this mean?

If we are inside that yellow area, meaning if I enter that yellow zone right now, I become visible to other players, and other players become visible to me.

What does this mean?

Basically, when I am underneath this scanner, as I am now, you can see that I’m inside this yellow circle.

Players can see where I am.

If someone is near me, I will appear as a red dot on the map.

And if there were an enemy nearby in that yellow zone, they would appear as a red dot for me.

In this case, as you can see, there are no red dots inside the scanner.

Therefore, there are no enemies nearby, and we can loot peacefully.

The truth is that sometimes this is a relief, but sometimes it isn’t.

For example, if you are running away from someone and the drone appears, that person can see exactly where you are moving.

So sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn’t.

Weapon Attachments and Upgrades

As you can see, everything consists of looting, obtaining different types of ammunition, obtaining different items, and improving your weapon.

For example, we have these small items that can help.

We have a muzzle, stocks, and different attachments that help improve the weapon.

Anything that helps improve your weapon, such as scopes, muzzles, and suppressors, should always be picked up because they help improve the power of whatever weapon you have.

Suppressors and Stealth

Another very important item is the suppressor.

Suppressors are very, very useful.

For example, here I have a 4x scope, which is what I mentioned earlier.

A 4x scope is essential for long-range weapons.

But I don’t have a weapon for it right now, so I’m not going to pick it up.

As I was saying, suppressors are also very important.

They are not very easy to find, so we have to be lucky while looting.

But every once in a while, we can find a suppressor.

It is really good to have one because it allows us to shoot at people without appearing on the map.

As you know, when someone shoots at us, they appear as an indicator.

Right now, I am a light-blue arrow.

That light-blue arrow represents me.

When someone shoots, an arrow appears in red, indicating where the shots are coming from.

Therefore, if we use a suppressor, we can shoot at enemies and they won’t know where we are shooting from.

This allows us to eliminate them much more easily.

So whenever you find a suppressor, try to pick it up and equip it on your long-range weapon.

Close-Range Combat Tip

Okay, people are shooting at me.

They killed us.

I can’t believe it.

That was definitely a failed match.

But it was simply to finish explaining some things I needed to cover for this beginner’s guide.

As you can see, you should always have good short-range weapons.

Honestly, I don’t really like this shotgun that much. I’m more of an SMG player.

But it was what we had at the time.

Another tip I can give you based on what just happened is that when we have an enemy close to us, hold down the shooting button and fire continuously.

Especially when the enemy is close and you have a short-range weapon.

As I just said, hold down the shooting button and you will eliminate them.

That is another tip to keep in mind.

Blue Zone and High-Level Loot

Another important thing I forgot to mention is this blue zone.

As you can see, we have the blue zone, which has now disappeared into the storm.

What this means is that it is a high-loot zone.

This is an area where there are many weapons, lots of ammunition, and many useful items.

So if you want to have good weapons, good ammunition, and good things for survival, you should go to the blue zone because you will find all kinds of items there.

The only bad thing about the blue zone is that it is usually located in central cities where many people go.

Therefore, there will be many enemies who can eliminate us.

So it is not highly recommended if you are a beginner.

Final Beginner Tips
